BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF IN ITS 30th YEAR
BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF, Leading International Trade Fair for Cosmetics, Nail, Foot, Wellness and Spa, has set standards for cosmetics trade fairs and has become the leading communication meeting point for the sector. Now in its 30th year, BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF will return from March 27 - 29, 2015 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. Around 50,000 international trade visitors will participate to gather information on new products, treatments, trends, innovations and services. “We are proud of this success story. BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF is known for its clear structure and attractive atmosphere. The exhibit segments Cosmetics Exclusive Ordering, Cosmetics Direct, Permanent Make-Up, Foot, Wellness and Spa as well as Nail and Salon Accessories in halls 9 to 12 offer a comprehensive overview of the market. The setting, structure and scope of exhibits along with a strict trade visitor registration policy made BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF the essential event it is today.
Cosmetics – Comprehensive Know-how
Represented in the Cosmetics segment will be exhibitors and brands offering skincare, decorative and apparatus-based cosmetics. Presented will be products for skincare and cleansing, natural cosmetics and make-up trends as well as new treatment methods and devices. The Meeting Point in Hall 10 will feature exhibitor presentations on innovations and trends. Special highlights will be the German and International Make-Up Championships with the themes “Special Event” and “Today’s Bride” as well as the presentation of the “Golden Mask for Make-Up Artistry” and “A Life of Beauty” awards.
Nail – All Aspects of Nail Care
Exhibitors in the Nail segment will showcase current trends, new treatment techniques and products as well as hand and nail care concepts: gel treatments, airbrushing and nail art, care systems for natural nails and UV curing lamps for artificial nails. At the Meeting Point Nail, the program will include the new Nail Star Academy where international stars from the nail sector will demonstrate new trends and professional techniques. Visitors can be actively involved at their own work stations while watching the demonstrations.
Feet: Specialist Information for Foot Care Professionals
The Foot segment will be geared towards podologists’ practices and cosmetic foot care, including foot and nail care products, technical equipment, studio furnishings as well as sanitary products. The practice-oriented presentations at the Meeting Point Foot, organized in cooperation with the Central Association of German Podologists and Podiatrists, will be devoted to the most important foot conditions such as the treatment of nail, pressure mark and skin problems, children’s and teenage feet and the podo-taping concept.
Wellness – Current Trends
The stylish Wellness segment will offer a comprehensive overview of current trends, wellness and spa treatments as well as therapy and treatment room technology. The Meeting Point Wellness will inform about international spa and massage trends such as wellness ceremonies and detox programs and also about salon furnishings.
Spa – Innovations and Individual Consultation
One focus at the SPA BUSINESS LOUNGE will be spa operation efficiency. Topics discussed in lectures and discussions will include successful spa management as well as spa design. A special highlight will be the selection of the “Spa Manager of the Year”.
Compact Know-How at the Trend Forum
One of the most important factors for being successful long term is continual information and further training. In the lectures at the Trend Forum (Hall 10) renowned speakers from science and practice will share their know-how. Topics will include “The Body in its Best Shape – How Metabolism Works", “Cosmetics – Trigger for, or Protection against, Allergies?" and “Cosmetics in Prevention – Maintain Health and Beauty". The lectures are free of charge and registration is not required.
With several cooperation partners, BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF will host the “Transparent Workshop” in Hall 10. At this special show visitors can follow the development of various cosmetic products from their manufacturing and production to application and sales.
International Brand Café
At the International Brand Café in Hall 10 visitors will be able to get information about the complex range of brands in the cosmetics, nail, foot, wellness and spa sectors.
Future Spa Special Show
In cooperation with the German Wellness Association, BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF’s innovative special show in the Future Spa area will feature design and space concepts for spas of the future presented by architecture students from Düsseldorf Polytechnic.
Wellness & Spa Innovation Awards and Innovation Gallery
For the third time, the German Wellness Association will give out the Wellness & Spa Innovation Awards in four categories on March 29 at 4 pm. The nominated entries will also be on show in the new Innovation Gallery in Hall 9.
Organized in cooperation with the Central Association of German Podologists and Podiatrists, the special area “Podology Training” will provide comprehensive information on the future of the podologist’s profession as well as training methods and professional development options. Further education is the main goal.
Gloria – German Cosmetics Prize
After its successful premiere last year, 2015 will again see the presentation of the German Gloria Cosmetics Prize. The publishing house KOSMETIK international will present the award to individuals and companies for their accomplishments and services in six categories. The presentation of the Gloria Prize will be held as part of a gala on Friday evening.
Medical SkinCare Congress
Held for the first time parallel with BEAUTY will be the Medical SkinCare Congress Düsseldorf. On March 27 and 28, scientific trends in the field of aesthetic dermatology and cosmetology will be discussed at the Congress Center East. The main focus will be on solutions for sales implementation and increasing turnover at beauty salons and stores. The international speakers and experts will talk about topics such as dermatocosmetics, aesthetic surgery and dermatology, apparatus-based procedures and management concepts in professional cosmetics and retail. The congress is geared towards entrepreneurs and specialist personnel from cosmetic institutes, perfumeries, pharmacies, hotel spas and interested dermatologists. The participation fee (starting at Euro195) includes admission to BEAUTY, a get together, snacks and drinks.
DKMS LIFE – "Look Good Feel Better"
With its initiative "look good feel better" the non-profit company DKMS LIFE is encouraging female patients to adopt a life-affirming attitude during the difficult time of cancer therapy. Throughout Germany, DKMS LIFE organizes some 1,200 cosmetic seminars yearly at more than 250 institutions for female cancer patients in therapy. At BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF, DKMS LIFE wants to get more cosmeticians interested in patient seminars.
