BOOT DÜSSELDORF 2019: FOCUS ON TREND SPORTS

SUP

Robby Naish will open the 50th edition of boot Düsseldorf, the world’s largest and leading international water sports trade fair, on January 19, 2019 in Düsseldorf, Germany. There will be a lot more stars, action and the latest equipment on the occasion of this anniversary.

Major brands and some newcomers will present their innovations - ranging from paddles, fins and foils to slim raceboards - on 120,000 square feet from January 19 – 27, 2019 in Hall 8a. Located between THE WAVE created by citywave® and the 164 feet shallow water basin, Brunotti, Fanatic, Mistral, Quattro, Siren, Starboard and many other manufacturers will show how the SUP sport will develop in the next years.

Right on the Board!
Visitors can test the latest equipment and try out SUP yoga daily between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm in the 213 feet long pool. Wetsuits will be provided. Of course THE WAVE can also be experienced live by visitors. Online registration is recommended to reserve a slot for THE WAVE: thewave.boot.de

Stars and Showtime!
On the first weekend of boot 2019, legends like Robby Naish and Björn Dunkerbeck, and on the second weekend, current pros like Airton Cozzolino and Zane Schweitzer will give interesting lectures. The latter will also prove their skills on January 26 and 27 at the 3rd SUP Wave Masters and the Short Track Masters. After the competition, they will discuss their performance, the latest trends and innovations with the visitors. With foiling as a major trend, boot 2019 will provide foiling action on the second weekend with the Foiling Show Contest. For more information: thewave.boot.de.
