Online exhibitor registration for the interpack alliance trade fairs pacprocess India, food pex India and indiapack 2018, is now open at http://www.pacprocess-india.com. Organized by Messe Düsseldorf, Messe Düsseldorf India and the Indian Institute of Packaging, the events will be held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC) in Mumbai from October 24 – 26, 2018, concurrently with drink technology India, organized by Messe München. Traditionally held in Mumbai, the trade fair quartet had its successful debut last year in New Delhi and now alternates annually between New Delhi and Mumbai.

As the leading events for the industry in India, the four trade fairs cover the entire range of food, beverage, baked goods, confectionery and pharmaceuticals, cosmetics as well as non-food and industrial goods. At the 2017 staging in New Delhi, 212 exhibitors occupied around 119,000 square feet of exhibition space and attracted around 10,000 visitors. Germany and Italy will have a strong presence at the trade fairs. Renowned companies such as SMC, Multivac and Bizerba, Cama, Ronchi, Clevertech and Makro Labelling have already signed up. The four events are also attracting companies from the Far East and exhibitors in 2018 will include the Chinese market leader Hangzhou Youngsun Intelligent Equipment Co. Group stands from Germany, Italy and China are planned. An important Indian market leader will be represented for the first time: Pakona Engineers Pvt. Ltd.

The packaging sector is one of the fastest growing in India. This process is driven by dynamic economic growth, rapidly growing middle classes, rising levels of income and a steady increase in urbanization – elements which are causing changes in consumer patterns as well as a growing demand for packaged food, beverage and commodities.
