September 2008 A+A 2009 EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION AVAILABLE ONLINEExhibitor registration for A+A 2009, International Trade Fair for Safety, Security and Health at Work, is now open at www.aplusa-online.de. The event will be held at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany from November 3 – 6, 2009. Over 1,400 exhibitors from around the world will present the entire spectrum of products and services for personal and work safety – from simple earplugs to complex safety systems, from industrial medical equipment to ergonomic design of the work place. Exhibit categories at A+A 2009 will include:
A special feature at A+A 2009 will be the North American Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America and co-sponsored by the National Safety Council (NSC). This group exhibit provides a cost-effective means for U.S. and Canadian companies to enter into or to expand their business in the lucrative overseas marketplace. The exhibits will again be supported by the A+A Congress. As part of the congress, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (OSHA) will organize an international conference. When A+A was last held in 2007, 1,460 exhibitors and 55,100 trade visitors took part. About 58% of the A+A 2007 exhibitors were from countries other than Germany. The leading foreign exhibitor nations were Great Britain, Italy, France and China. From the U.S., 40 exhibitors displayed their products at the show.
