CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF RETURNS IN 2010

CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, The No. 1 Show for Motor Homes and Caravans, will return to the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, from August 28 - September 5, 2010 (on August 27, the event will be open to trade visitors and the media only). In 10 halls, over 500 exhibitors will showcase motor homes and RVs in all price categories, accessories and furnishing components as well as camping and campground equipment, tents/awnings and travel destinations. A total of 120 motor home and RV brands will be represented.

CARAVAN SALON 2010 will provide a complete overview of everything the market has to offer – from successful layouts and RV classics to the latest models for the new season. Recreation vehicles of all types and sizes will be on display - from mini mobile homes to mobile luxury apartments.

The exhibits will be complemented by a multi-faceted ancillary program, including the “Oldie RV” exhibit and the “dream tours” presentation about RV travel in Madagascar, South America and the Gobi Desert. In addition, the German Caravanning Industry Association (CIVD) will inform about energy saving possibilities and environmental friendly fixtures for older RVs in the “Green Caravaning” seminar. The fifth “caraving design award: innovations for new mobility” will also be presented CARAVAN SALON 2010.

When last held in 2009, 161,200 visitors from 37 countries and 580 exhibitors from 25 nations took part in CARAVAN SALON.

As in the past, TourNatur, Hiking Trade Fair, will be held concurrently with CARAVAN SALON. From September 3 - 5, 2010, about 275 exhibitors will showcase the latest equipment and products for hiking to 33,500 visitors.
