CARAVAN SALON 2010 PHOTO CONTEST

At CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, The No. 1 Show for Motor Homes and Caravans, visitors can actively participate in more than one way. As part of the ancillary program, the Caravaning Informations company (CIG) will offer quiz shows, games and a special 80s photo contest. Trade fair visitors are encouraged to submit their most beautiful vacation photos from the 80s for a chance to win an original VW bus from that era. CARAVAN SALON will take place from August 28 - September 5, 2010 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Submitted vacation photos taken between 1980 and 1989 will be projected onto a large screen. The photo contest jury will present awards for the most unusual, creative or humorous submissions. It is important that the photos are recognizable as being from the 80s and they must have been taken during a vacation. Daily prizes include first-class RV trips by LeadingCampings as well as attractive giveaways. During the finale on the last trade fair day, the winner of the grand prize (80s VW bus) will be drawn from all daily winners.

More than 550 exhibitors are expected to participate in CARAVAN SALON 2010. In 10 halls, they will showcase motor homes and RVs in all price categories, accessories and furnishing components as well as camping and campground equipment, tents/awnings and travel destinations. A total of 120 motor home and RV brands will be represented.
