MESSE DÜSSELDORF TO PROMOTE RETAIL TRADE FAIRS AT GLOBALSHOP 2010

Messe Düsseldorf will participate in GlobalShop 2010 in order to promote its worldwide program of international trade fairs for the retail industry, including EuroShop 2011, The Global Retail Trade Fair (to be held from February 26 - March 2, 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany) and SHOP DESIGN RUSSIA 2010, International Trade Fair for Shopfitting, Lighting Technology, IT Systems and Retail Marketing (scheduled for September 14 - 16, 2010 in Moscow, Russia). At GlobalShop booth 3047, exhibitor and visitor information for the trade fairs will be available as well as information on hotel and travel arrangements.

EuroShop 2011 will be the global platform and trend barometer for the retail industry. About 1,800 exhibitors from 50 countries will showcase their latest products and technologies on over 2 million square feet of gross exhibit space to 100,000 visitors from 93 nations. The trade fair will consist of four independent but connected exhibit segments: EuroConcept (shopfitting, store design, lighting, energy-saving refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, the EuroShop Designer Village and the EuroShop Retail Design Conference), EuroSales (visual merchandising, sales promotion and POS marketing), EuroCIS (information and security technology) and EuroExpo (stand construction, design and special events).

At SHOP DESIGN RUSSIA 2010, shop fitting and store equipment, building and lighting technology, refrigeration technology, visual merchandising and sales promotions as well as communication, information and security technology and exhibition stand construction will be the main focus. An ancillary program will complement the exhibits. At the show’s last staging in 2008, 103 exhibitors from Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Italy, Spain and Turkey displayed their innovations on 64,580 square feet of exhibit space to 8,800 visitors.
