PREPARATIONS FOR EUROSHOP 2008 STARTED
EXHIBITOR KITS AVAILABLE

Preparations for EuroShpo 2008, The Global Retail Trade Fair, are underway and exhibitor kits for the event are available from Messe Düsseldorf North America. The deadline for reserving exhibit space at EuroShop 2008 is April 16, 2007. All companies who submit their exhibitor application until March 31, 2007 will be entered in a drawing for three exclusive EuroShop exhibitor party packages with VIP treatment (for 10 people). The world's largest capital goods trade fair for the retail industry and its partners will be held from February 23 – 27, 2008 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Even before the exhibitor kits were available, interest in participating in EuroShop 2008 was high. “We have had numerous talks with both previous exhibitors and new customers from Germany and abroad. We already have our first solid registrations for EuroShop 2008. Some companies want to increase the area of their stand significantly,” commented Wilhelm Niedergöker, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf.

EuroShop 2008 will again consist of four independent but connected exhibit segments: EuroConcept for shopfitting and store equipment, architecture and store design, lighting technology and refrigeration equipment; EuroSales for visual merchandising, sales promotion and POS marketing; EuroCIS for information and security technology; and EuroExpo for stand construction, design and special events.

The exhibits at EuroShop 2008 will be complemented by an attractive ancillary program, including the Retail Innovation Conference, the Retail Design Conference, the Retail Technology Days Europe as well as the Exhibitor Forum in the EuroCIS and EuroConcept segment (all organized by the EHI Retail Institute) and the International POP Conference (organized by POPAI).

A special highlight at EuroShop 2008 will be the North American Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America (the U.S. subsidiary of the EuroShop 2008 organizer). The North American group exhibit consists of fully equipped turn-key booths and provides a cost-effective means for companies to enter or to expand their business in the lucrative overseas marketplace.

EuroShop 2008 will be a global information platform and trend barometer for the retail industry. This is where more than 1,600 exhibitors from 50 countries will showcase their latest products and technologies on over 2.1 million square feet of gross exhibit space to 91,000 trade visitors from 93 nations.
