January 2009 NEW INTERPACK PRESIDENT ELECTEDThe interpack PROCESSES AND PACKAGING 2011 Advisory Council has unanimously elected the new President of the show: Christian Traumann, Managing Director of MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller GmbH & Co. KG. The Vice-Presidents are Friedbert Klefenz, President of Bosch Packaging Technology and Bernhard Borgardt, a representative of RPC Group, who is also President of the German Association for Plastics Packaging and Films (IK), the Central Federation of the Plastics Processing Industries (GKV) and the European Plastics Converters (EuPC). “I look forward to a constructive working relationship with the Advisory Council in the coming years. Past experience has clearly shown that both interpack exhibitors and visitors benefit equally from the results of this cooperation,” commented Werner Matthias Dornscheidt, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf. The next staging of interpack will take place from May 12 – 18, 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany. In October 2009, exhibitor applications for the event will be available and the exhibitor registration deadline will be February 28, 2010.
