Exhibitor applications for interpack PROCESSES AND PACKAGING 2011, are now available online at www.interpack.com/checkin. interpack 2011 exhibitor applications for individual space can only be filled out online – no hard copies will be available. Exhibitor registration deadline is February 28, 2010. The event will be held from May 12 - 18, 2011 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Messe Düsseldorf North America will again organize a U.S. Pavilion and is the contact to reserve exhibit space within this U.S. group exhibit (Tel.: (312) 781-5180). The U.S. Pavilion provides a cost-effective means for companies to enter into or to expand their business in the lucrative overseas marketplace. The pavilion turnkey rental package includes a fully furnished booth, access to an attractive lounge area and the on-site service of a project manager, hostesses and interpreters. All technical work, set up and dismantling is included. In addition, U.S. Commercial Service staff will be on hand in the U.S. Pavilion to assist with export and licensing questions.

Exhibiting within a U.S. Pavilion at one of the specialized industrial trade shows held in Düsseldorf, Germany, has proven to be the ideal way for small-to-medium sized companies to make a greater impact at a large trade show and is a most effective way to begin or increase overseas trade. Exhibitors at trade shows in Düsseldorf are able to reach over 200 million consumers living within 1.5 hours flight time from Düsseldorf. Almost 45 percent of all EC citizens live within a radius of 300 miles.

Exhibit categories at interpack 2011 will include packaging machinery and devices, packaging materials as well as confectionery and bakery machinery and equipment and services.

When interpack was last held in 2008, 2,744 exhibitors from 60 countries presented their innovations to 179,000 visitors from 121 nations. A total of 69% of the interpack 2008 exhibitors were from countries other than Germany, with Italy, the Netherlands, France and Great Britain as the leading foreign exhibitor nations. From the U.S., 93 companies took part, 35 of which displayed their products within the successful U.S. Pavilion, organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America.
