K 2010 TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW

Entrance passes for K 2010, 18th International Trade Fair Plastics and Rubber, can now be ordered online at www.k-online.de or from Messe Düsseldorf North America (MDNA) in advance of the show at reduced rates (2007 rates). The event will take place from October 27 – November 3, 2010 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. The online price for a 1-day ticket is Euro 49 instead of Euro 55 on show site and a 3-day ticket is available online for Euro 108 instead of Euro 120 if purchased at the show. The K 2010 visitor passes can be used as a free public transportation ticket on all buses, streetcars, underground trams (U-Bahn), urban railways (S-Bahn) and German rail service within the Rhine-Ruhr regional network (VRR) of Düsseldorf and the Rhein-Sieg transportation network (VRS) which includes the neighboring cities of Wuppertal, Krefeld, Dortmund, Bonn and Cologne.

In addition to the entrance passes, www.k-online.de offers many other useful tools for visitors and exhibitors alike such as exhibitor product information, daily updates on industry-specific news and the latest research results. Exhibitors can also use the K 2010 portal to process their orders online. All these tools are available in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Over the last year, www.k-online.de registered well over 1 million page views (1,038,891) and 213,973 visits, indicating that the results of the K 2007 portal will be surpassed this year.

A new feature for K 2010 is the recently activated mobile K information system http://mobile.k-online.de. Developed for cell phones, smart phones and PDAs, it has the functions of the trade fair portal in a format adapted for mobile devices. A demonstration can be viewed at www.k-online.de.
