March 2005 FIRST MEETING OF K 2007 EXHIBITOR COUNCILThe exhibitor council for K 2007, 17th International Trade Fair Plastics + Rubber, recently met for the first time in order to outline the course of the event. From October 24 – 31, 2007, the world’s leading suppliers of plastics and rubber machinery, raw materials and auxiliaries as well as semi-finished products, technical parts and reinforced plastic products will again meet in Düsseldorf, Germany for the industry’s No. 1 trade fair. K 2007 exhibitor applications will be sent out in early 2006 and the deadline for reserving exhibit space will be May 31, 2006. The head of the K 2007 exhibitor council will again be Ulrich Reifenhäuser, CEO of Reifenhäuser GmbH + Co. KG Maschinenfabrik, President of the European Committee of Machinery Manufacturers for the Plastics and Rubber Industries (EUROMAP) and Deputy Chairman of the German Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association within the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). Frank Bertram, head of Global Marketing, Product Management and Innovation in the Polyurethanes Business Unit at Bayer MaterialScience, was named as his deputy. Bernd Knörr, EUROMAP Secretary General and Managing Director of the German Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association within the German Engineering Federation (VDMA), remains in his position as the head of the organizational committee. The exhibitor council elected Michael Stahl, Head of Public Relations at Bakelite AG, as Chairman of the K 2007 concept committee.
