NEWCAST 2009 EXHIBITOR KITS AVAILABLE

Exhibitor kits for NEWCAST 2009, International Trade Fair for Precision Castings and NEWPART Innovation Park, are now available from Messe Düsseldorf North America. The event will be held from June 23 - 25, 2009 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

“We’ve just sent out the exhibitor applications and are really pleased that there is so much interest among companies, both nationally and internationally, in showing their innovations at NEWCAST,” commented Friedrich Georg Kehrer, Project Director of NEWCAST 2009.

New features at NEWCAST 2009 will include the NEWPART Innovation Park for forged and sintered parts and the Metals Plaza, a forum for the raw material and metal trade. Other new areas will be logistics and prefabrication. Also, a range of new casting methods will be shown, using permanent and sand moulds. The 4th NEWCAST Forum with seminars and conferences will complement the trade fair. Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Düsseldorf Messe, stated: “For the first time NEWCAST – the number 1 trade fair for precision casting – will show forged and sintered parts next year, parts with equally important roles in this industry as traditional casting in finished and semi-finished processes. These topics will be given a platform with global significance at NEWCAST.”

In the coming years, NEWCAST should develop into a comprehensive marketplace for a large range of industries: automotive and aviation, aerospace, rail traffic, naval engineering, mechanical and plant engineering and construction as well as electrical and electronic engineering and medical engineering. The target groups are design engineers and users of casting and metal parts.
