OS+H ASIA 2010: REGIONAL FORUM FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH

OS+H ASIA 2010, 7th Occupational Safety + Health Exhibition for Asia, will be held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Center from September 15 - 17, 2010. The event will be organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia, a subsidiary of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany. Messe Düsseldorf is renowned for its organization of A+A - the leading international trade fair for safety, security and health at work. OS+H Asia 2010 will have the support of the Singapore Ministry of Manpower, the Occupational and Environmental Health Society and the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers as well as the National Safety Council of Singapore.

With heightened awareness of occupational safety and health issues across Asia, concrete measures are implemented by governments. With the region's increased global importance in industry and trade, the relevance of OS+H Asia 2010 as a regional forum for health and safety experts has never been greater. The specialized exhibition will introduce a wide range of products and services that will contribute to a safer and healthier work environment.

OS+H Asia 2010 will again be the regional platform for OSH consultants, product manufacturers and suppliers, facilities and service providers and OSH practitioners to find a wealth of opportunities in the Asian occupational safety and health market. Exhibit categories will include personal safety equipment, safety equipment and safe facilities at the workplace, safe handling of dangerous substances, occupational medicine, first aid and hygiene, work safety in high-risk areas, environmental control at the workplace as well as fire protection products, safety organization services and workplace ergonomics. The OSH 2010 Conference will complement the exhibits.

At the trade fair’s last staging in 2008, 112 companies from 17 nations showcased their latest products to 4,263 visitors from 36 countries. The majority of the attendees were interested in personal and occupational safety and health equipment we well as environmental protection technology.

As in the past, MEDICAL FAIR ASIA - International Exhibition on Hospital, Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, Medical & Rehabilitation Equipment & Supplies - will take place concurrently with OS+H Asia.
