NEW AT PROWEIN 2010 CENTRAL WINE TASTING ZONE: WINES BY SALES CHANNELS

The Central Wine Tasting Zone at ProWein 2010, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits, will be reorganized: with the slogan “Wine in Business”, red and white wines will for the first time be presented according to their respective sales and distribution channels. This gives every trade visitor an overview of the current international wine scene geared exactly towards his/her specific needs (for example, food retail has a different range of wines for its consumers than a wine dealer or the sommelier of a multi-star restaurant). The Wine Tasting Zone will serve as a first orientation. The expected 35,000 attendees can get detailed information and further contacts at the booths of the 3,100 exhibitors from all the relevant wine growing regions worldwide. ProWein 2010 will take place from March 21 - 23, 2010 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Organic and eco wines continue to be very popular across all distribution channels. Therefore the German wine magazine “Weinwirtschaft” (Meininger Publishing House) will complement the Wine Tasting Zone with its presentation of top organic wines.

The Central Wine Tasting Zone at ProWein will be unique and present new trends in wine. Organized by Messe Düsseldorf together with the renowned publishing company Meininger Verlag, about 1,000 international wines will be available for tasting. Each year, about 80% of the ProWein trade visitors use the Wine Tasting Zone for a first orientation.
