TOP HAIR INTERNATIONAL Trend & Fashion Days Düsseldorf, Trade Fair – Show – Congress for the International Hairdressing Industry, will return to the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany from March 27 - 29, 2010. This event is a unique combination of trade fair, congress, workshops and world class shows. Around 25,000 trade visitors attend every year to gather information about the latest trends, place orders and improve their skills.
TOP HAIR INTERNATIONAL is a trade only event where about 250 international exhibitors and brands will present a comprehensive range of hair styling products and tools, wigs and hairpieces as well as salon furnishings, wellness products and decorative and advertising equipment.
The organizers Messe Düsseldorf and Europe’s leading hairstyling magazine Top Hair International have jointly developed TOP HAIR INTERNATIONAL into a leading event and recently renewed their five-year contract.
The status of TOP HAIR INTERNATIONAL as an important industry platform is evident by the announcement of Schwarzkopf Professional that they will hold their glamorous Gala with the German Hairdressing Award presentation in Düsseldorf instead of Berlin. “The move to Düsseldorf is an important step for us. The German Hairdressing Award 2010 will not be part of the trade fair but will take place concurrently as a separate event. In the last years we had about 1,000 guests in Berlin but next year we want to have more. We are checking locations and are confident that Düsseldorf provides the appropriate and attractive setting for this significant award,” stated Bernhard Koopsingraven, Manging Director of Schwarzkopf Professional Germany.
Helmut Winkler, Project Director of TOP HAIR INTERNATIONAL, is delighted with Schwarzkopf Professional’s decision: “Due to the parallel staging of the German Hairdressing Award, the significance of TOP HAIR INTERNATIONAL will increase even further and hairstylists now have two reasons to come to Düsseldorf. This city is the capital of hairstylists – 110 hairdressers for every 100,000 residents. Berlin only has 70 hairstylists per 100,000 residents.”
