POSITIVE RESULTS FOR TUBE INDIA INTERNATIONAL 2005

The second concurrent staging of Tube India International and Essen Welding India attracted 110 exhibitors from 18 countries and 3,800 visitors when it was recently held in Hyderabad, India. On 37,600 square feet of exhibit space, exhibitors from Germany, Great Britain, France, Austria, Malaysia, Ukraine, Italy, Russia, Japan, Switzerland, Romania, the U.S., the UAE, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and India showcased their latest technology and services for the tube, pipe and welding industries.

Key players in the Indian industry such as Tata Steel, PSL Holdings, Tube Investments of India Ltd., Maharashtra Seamless Limited, Apex Tubes, Zenith Tubes, Gemini Tubes, Gallium Industries, Dee Tee Industries, Jupiter Fertigung, Aimil Limited, KLT Automotive (Thakkarsons), D.B Engineering, Thermatool, Electrotherm, Total Tools, Metal Gems, Shree Ganesh Forgings, Jagtar Sons, Chaudhary Hammers, Technofour, Blue Star, ESAB, Mechelonic Engineers, Paton, Plazma Cutting and Abicor Binzel presented their products at Tube India International and Essen Welding India 2005.

The International Tube Association (ITA) and the ITA - Indian Management Board organized a one-day technical conference on “Welding Technologies for Manufacturing and Processing Auto, Energy and Structural Tubulars”. The conference was attended by more then 120 delegates from various user industries. In addition, the Indian Welding Society spearheaded a conference about “Productive Welding – The Emerging Scenario”, which drew 270 participants.

The majority of the exhibitors was pleased with their participation in Tube India International and Essen Welding India 2005 and plan to take part again in the next staging of the event. According to a survey, more than 91 percent of the exhibitors were satisfied with the quality of visitors at the show and 73 percent of the companies reported that the trade fair provided an excellent opportunity to find new prospective clients.
