December 2008 TRADE FAIR TRIO FOR METAL INDUSTRY IN RUSSIAThree trade fairs for the metal industry will be held concurrently at the Expocentr in Moscow from May 12 – 15, 2009: Metallurgy-Litmash (International Trade Fair for Metallurgy, Machinery, Plant Technology and Products), Tube Russia (The International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair in Russia) and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous (International Trade Fair for Aluminum and Non-Ferrous Metals, Materials, Technologies and Products). The events will be jointly organized by Messe Düsseldorf, its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf Moscow and its Russian partner ZAO Metal-Expo. The industry partner of Tube Russia 2009 is the International Tube Association (ITA), while Metallurgy-Litmash 2009 has the support of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). The trade fairs have established themselves as the leading platform for the Russian foundry, metallurgy, aluminum and tube industries. Metallurgy-Litmash 2009 will feature metallurgical plants and rolling mills, thermo process technology, foundry machinery, sheet metals, welding, cutting and joining technology and ferrous castings. Exhibit categories at Tube Russia 2009 will include tube manufacturing machinery, raw materials, tubes and accessories, used machinery, process technology tools and auxiliaries as well as measuring and control technology and test engineering. Aluminium/Non-Ferrous 2009 will present plants, machinery and technology for aluminum and non-ferrous extraction and processing, non-ferrous castings and raw materials as well as semi-finished and finished products. The last concurrent staging of Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous in summer of 2008 attracted some 8,800 visitors from the Russian Federation and neighboring countries. On 50,000 square feet of net exhibit space, 316 exhibitors from 22 nations showcased their innovations. wire Russia 2009 (The International Wire and Cable Trade Fair in Russia) will he held parallel with Metallurgy-Litmash, Tube Russia and Aluminium/Non-Ferrous 2009.
