From April 12 – 16, 2010, wire, International Wire and Cable Trade Fair, and Tube, International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, will be held at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany for the twelfth time. wire 2010 will be held in Halls 9 - 12 and 15 - 17. The layout of Halls 15 - 17 will be new: fastener technology will be presented in Hall 15, while parts of Hall 16 will be dedicated to spring making. Wire and cable applications, wire and cable machinery and fibreglass machinery will be located in Halls 9 - 12 and 16 - 17. The Tube 2010 exhibits will be on display in Halls 1 – 7.

Exhibit categories wire 2010 will range from wire production and finishing machinery to tools, auxiliary materials for process engineering, materials and specialty wires. In addition, cable, measurement and control technology as well as test engineering equipment, logistics, conveyor systems and packaging will be presented.

Tube 2010 will feature tube production and processing machinery, raw materials, tubes and accessories, used machinery, process technology tools and auxiliary materials as well as measurement and control technology, test engineering, warehouse automation and monitoring and control systems. After its successful debut this year, pipelines and OCTG (oil country tubular goods) technology will be showcased again in 2010.

For the first time, there will be a special show about profiles and profile technology at the 2010 events. It will showcase machinery and systems for the production of profiles and also present the final products.

After the excellent results of the two events in 2008, wire again expects to welcome more than 41,000 visitors and about 1,100 exhibitors on a display area of 554,300 square feet in 2010. For Tube 2010, the organizers estimate that 35,000 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors will meet on 430,500 square feet of exhibit space.
