EXCELLENT EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION AT WIRE AND TUBE 2010

Eight months before the start of wire 2010, International Wire and Cable Trade Fair, and Tube 2010, International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair, both events are recording positive exhibitor registration, defying the global economic situation. Even at this early stage, companies have reserved more exhibit space than at the same time two years ago for wire and Tube 2008: for wire 2010, exhibitors booked 538,200 square feet net so far while companies at Tube 2010 occupy about 430,500 square feet net to date. wire and Tube will be held concurrently from April 12 - 16, 2010 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

wire 2010 will be held in the usual halls 9 - 12 and 15 - 17: the wire, cable and fiber optic machinery and wire and cable production exhibits will be located in Halls 9 - 12, 17 and parts of Hall 16. Spring making will also be housed in Hall 16 while the fastener technology section can be found in Hall 15.

The hall allocation for Tube 2010 will be new: exhibitors will showcase their products and services in halls 1 - 7.0 and hall 7a for the first time. Also new at Tube 2010 will be the exhibit category plastic tubes and profiles. In Halls 1, 2 and 3, companies will showcase the latest tube and pipe accessories and production technology. Hall 4 will feature tube and pipe production plant and machinery while fastener technology for hollow materials will be the focus in Hall 5. Welding, cutting and surface technology will be on exhibit in Hall 6. Pipe and tube-processing plant and machinery will be shown in Hall 7a.

For both wire and Tube 2010, Messe Düsseldorf North America will organize a North American Pavilion, together with U.S associations as co-sponsors (the Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association (WCISA) for the U.S. group stand at wire 2010 and the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) for the U.S. group exhibit at Tube 2010).
