THAILAND NEW VENUE FOR WIRE AND TUBE TRADE FAIRS

Messe Düsseldorf Asia recently announced a new venue for its wire, cable, tube and pipe trade fairs in Southeast Asia. With the endorsement and support of major associations, wire Southeast ASIA and Tube Southeast ASIA will make their debut in Bangkok, Thailand from October 16 - 18, 2007.

The wire and tube trade fairs organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia in Singapore since 1995 and 1997 respectively, have established themselves as the leading trade fairs for their industries in Southeast Asia. Both trade fairs ( wire Singapore and Tube Singapore) will be relocated to Thailand as wire Southeast ASIA and Tube Southeast ASIA and will provide access to the Thai and Indochina markets as well as its neighboring countries.

Thailand, noted for its strong manufacturing base and large infrastructure projects particularly in the transportation, telecommunications and public utility sectors, is considered a key entry point into developing Indochina markets. In addition, Thailand and Vietnam give multinational companies the opportunity to do business in these countries through tax incentives and the opening of its markets.

Bangkok, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, is fast becoming a popular destination to stage world-class trade fairs. Geographically positioned within less than 5 hours flight time from India, Japan and Indonesia, the staging of trade fairs in this city is expected to increase the visitor participation.

Given the long-term prospects of these countries, it is timely for Messe Düsseldorf Asia to build on the success of the Singapore-based shows and to organize a regional platform closer to this activity and visitor base.
