Preparations for ProWein 2015, International Trade Fair Wines and Spirits, (March 15 - 17, 2015 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany) are in full swing and the international wine industry continues to be upbeat about the event. “We are not the only ones looking forward to this trade show. International visitors from the retail and catering sector have every reason to be equally enthusiastic,” said Michael Degen, Division Director of Messe Düsseldorf and Director of ProWein. “The extensive range of different wines and spirits is renowned, with products from all over the world. Next year, ProWein will feature wines from Bolivia for the first time.”

This is made possible by a program of the Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI), an Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. CBI has been working with 14 Bolivian wineries since 2013 and is supporting them in their activities to export to Europe. At ProWein 2015, these wineries will be represented at a group stand of the Association Wines of Bolivia in Hall 9.

In nine exhibition halls, ProWein 2015 will present an unparalleled diversity of wines and spirits from all continents. In order to provide more exhibit space, the trade fair moved into halls 9 to 17. As in the past, the current level of exhibitor registrations already confirms the steadily increasing exhibit space demand. More than 5,000 exhibitors from around 50 countries are expected.

Highlights at ProWein 2015 will also include several international wine tasting zones, country specific events such as the a display of the 100 top quality French wines organized by Sopexa as well as various exhibits encompassing several countries, for example the wine tasting zone of the International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI. This is where the winning wines of the MUNDUS VINI tasting session will be presented.

Starting in November, ProWein 2015 entrance passes can be purchased online at at reduced rates.
