The international rehabilitation and care sector will meet again this year at REHACARE INTERNATIONAL 2018, Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care, held from September 26 – 29, 2018 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. About 700 exhibitors from 40 countries will present innovative products and services for self-determined living for people with disabilities or requiring care as well as for seniors.

“Visitors can expect a top international event, with almost 50% of exhibitors coming from abroad. From the leading players in the industry to many small and medium-size companies serving special segments, REHACARE will bring together all those who offer competitive solutions in the worldwide market,” stated Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf.

REHACARE is a leading international trade fair for those with special needs or requiring care – a must for everyone looking for information in this field. The event will take place in halls 3 to 7.0. Exhibit categories will include mobility and everyday aids, physical care and hygiene, household and nutrition, communication equipment, safety systems, building and living, workplace, physical training, ergotherapy, nursing and medical care and clothing as well as sports, leisure and travel. The exhibits will be complemented by numerous conferences, congresses and workshops. Internationally renowned experts, associations and healthcare funding institutions will provide a first-class continuing education forum.

With the presence of all key international aids manufacturers in Hall 3 at REHACARE, the mobility sector will be fully represented with its wheelchair, vehicle and walking aids innovations. Also located in Hall 3 will be the REHACARE Forum addressing current topics. Whether it is about inclusion, quality of life or the sustainable organization of care – experts from self-help groups and agencies, social economists and politicians will host lectures on all four trade fair days.

Hall 4 will be the central information center for products for children with disabilities. This is where parents and family members can find equipment ranging from wheelchairs to communication aids for education.

In Hall 5, people with sensory disabilities and limited motor skills will find exhibitors devoted exclusively to their needs. This is also where “accessible travel” companies will give vacation and travel tips.

Customized car conversions and installations for disabled drivers will be on display in Hall 6. Renowned manufacturers will present their current standard car models equipped for the disabled.

Sports will also play an important role at REHCARE. Hall 7a will be transformed into a huge stadium (“Sports Center”) and visitors were able to try out sports such as track and field, archery, table football for blind people and wheelchair basketball.
