Online exhibitor registration for T-PLAS 2017, International Trade Fair for the Plastics and Rubber Industries, is now open at www.tplas.com. The event will take place from September 20 - 23, 2017 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Thailand.

Organized biennially by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and supported by Messe Düsseldorf in Germany with its leading global exhibition for the plastics and rubber sector – K, T-PLAS 2017 will again bring together international and local professionals from the sector to share cutting-edge products and solutions.

T-PLAS 2017 will showcase a broad spectrum of technologies and solutions such as advanced machinery for plastics and rubber manufacturing, environmental-friendly equipment for plastics recycling and reprocessing, resins and additives, semi-finished products and reinforced plastics. New next year will be the two focus platforms bioplastics and plastics for lifestyle packaging. Complementing the exhibits will be seminars and conferences.

The upcoming edition of T-PLAS will reflect the various sectors that contribute to Thailand’s thriving plastics and rubber industries: automotive, with a production increase of 18.45% since 2015, electrical and electronics with a 7.39% surge in production of goods and appliances, the medical and pharmaceutical sector with a combined annual value estimated to surpass THB1.5 trillion, and packaging, which accounts for 48% of Thailand’s plastic consumption. Thailand is also experiencing high demand for plastics used for creative lifestyle packaging as the e-commerce sector continues to grow. Thailand is currently one of the largest e-commerce markets in Asia, generating $2.1 billion annually and a great need for plastics for e-commerce packaging solutions. In addition, Thailand has also seen its bioplastics sectors expanding, with the government investing $60 million in its bioplastics development over the past 7 years.

To further enhance the regional focus and international outlook of the trade fair, T-PLAS will be co-located with PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2017, the 6th International Packaging and Printing Exhibition for Asia. The strategic parallel staging of these two events will bring together the best companies from the packaging, printing, plastics and rubber sectors and provide valuable synergies for all participants.
