Hospitalar is the largest and leading medical trade fair in Latin America. Serving as the stage on which medical device manufacturers can introduce their range of products, it represents one way for companies to keep pace with the unparalleled opportunities for business-to-business networking and direct trade with Brazilian and other Latin American companies and customers alike.

In recent years, Brazil's market for medical technology has grown by around 18% annually!  The market is projected to continue expanding strongly and will also benefit from the country's consistently high demand in both its public and private healthcare systems.  Despite the development of local production, the import demand continues to grow.  Statistics show that imports of medical equipment and accessories in the past couple of years alone have achieved an annual aggregate value in excess of US$ 3 billion!

Three thematically focused event sections of Hospitalar will again be held concurrently:  Diagnostica (Clinical Analysis and Pathology), Hospfarma (Pharmacy and Drugstores), and Hospitalar Digital Health (e-Medicine).

Messe Düsseldorf North America, the subsidiary office of Messe Düsseldorf in Germany - organizer of the renowned MEDICA trade fair, is the exclusive representative office of Hospitalar in the United States and Canada, and also organizes the North American Pavilion at the show every year.
