IDEAL TIMING FOR WIRE & TUBE SOUTHEAST ASIA 2015 STAGING

Amidst a thriving manufacturing and industry background, the 11th edition of wire Southeast ASIA and the 10th edition of Tube Southeast ASIA make a timely return to the Bangkok Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Thailand from September 16 - 18, 2015.

wire and Tube Southeast ASIA 2015 are the region's most established trade fairs for the wire, cable, tube and pipe industries. Driven and supported by the wire and Tube Düsseldorf shows, wire and Tube Southeast Asia present an ideal platform for companies to benefit from the growing market opportunities brought by robust industrial and manufacturing developments across the world.

Forecasted by Freedonia 2012 / Market Research & Data Services 2012, global demand for plastic pipes, tubes and hoses is expected to reach €136.5 billion in 2016. Equally positive is the global demand for insulated wire and cable market – projected by Global Industry Analysts, Inc. / Transparency Market Reports. The industry sector will exceed €113.5 billion at the end of 2015. In Southeast Asia, wire and tube industries continue to grow and evolve:

  • Thailand: Construction spending was US$30.3 billion in 2012 and is expected to grow by 3.4% annually over the next five years
  • Indonesia: the automotive industry is set to achieve 7.5% growth (1.2 million units) and US$174 billion has been allocated for infrastructure development over the next 12 years (40% will go to building power and energy projects)
  • Singapore: Government plans to invest S$60 billion over the next 10 years in rail network improvement projects, doubling the network to 280km
  • Vietnam: the construction sector is on an upward cyclical phase and infrastructure projects are valued at US$85 billion by 2015
  • Malaysia: Construction spending is forecast to grow by 4.5% annually over the next 5 years
  • Philippines: Value of new construction projects is anticipated to rise 46%
  • Myanmar: The Asian Development Bank forecasts Myanmar’s economy to grow at 7 – 8% each year over the next decade. Private residential and commercial property sectors have seen annual average growth of more than 11% over the last four years

In line with these upward market trends, wire and Tube Southeast ASIA 2015 will feature a wide range of innovative machinery for wire manufacturing and finishing, fasteners and springs, pumps, valves, tube, bending and forming technologies. New processes in measuring, control and test engineering and specialist areas, as well as new and upgraded tools and auxiliary materials in process engineering and rod materials will also be showcased at both trade fairs.
